Wanna defy nature?

For those unfamiliar with the concept of entropy, it is believed that all nature tends towards inevitable and steady deterioration. However, the evidence of Christ’s resurrection disregards this scientific conclusion.

Romans 6:9 “…Christ, having been raised from the dead, is never to die again; death no longer is master over Him.”

1 Corinthians 15:55 “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?”

The very essence of our faith is progressive transformation. We are invited into a relationship with Someone who wants to renew our minds and restore our lives.

2 Corinthians 4:16 “Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.”

Galatians 4:19 “…until Christ is formed in you…”

The glorious work of the cross makes a way for us to defy natural law. We can choose to submit our hearts and minds to the Holy Spirit and be transformed, that we might be an expression of God to the world.

Romans 8:29 “For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son…”

Such potential progress gives significant purpose to life, huh?
